Book Tag: 3 Bookish Things

I found this Book Tag through Millay’s Musings post.

1. How many books are too many books in a series?

I don’t think there is a set number to be honest. The most important thing is that the books continue to be good and different. There is nothing worse than a series continuing but just reusing the same story with a few edits here and there.

2. How do you feel about cliff-hangers?

Who doesn’t love a cliff-hanger!

3. Hardback or Paperback?

Nothing beats the beauty and durability of a hardback, but I honestly really dislike actually reading them. If I could look at a hardback all day, I would. They just get too heavy! At the same time… If I’m reading a paperback, I always need to be incredibly careful, because I want it to always look absolutely perfect. What a dilemma! – This is what the last poster wrote and I don’t need to change a word!)

4. Favourite book?

That’s a really difficult one to be honest. I love so many books! If I HAD to choose it would be The Afterlife Saga by Stephanie Hudson. It was the first book that opened me up to an incredible series filled with amazing characters and a fantastic plot. Not only that, the book changed my life in many, many ways!

5. Least favourite book?

I wouldn’t say I have a least favourite book, just every book I didn’t finish! Haha!

6. Love triangles, yes or no?

Y E S. I love love triangles! Most books have love triangles so if you don’t like them, what do you read? Ha!

7. The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?

My most recent DID NOT FINISH was Nightmare at Scapa Flow by H. J. Weaver. I don’t believe this is a bad book, but I really struggle with war and history books so I just couldn’t get in to it.

8. A book you’re currently reading?

I’m only reading two books at the moment. Ulrick by Wendy L Anderson and Glass Houses by Rachel Caine (may she rest in peace).

9. Last book you recommended to someone?

I’m always recommending books. I’ll probably go with the last book I reviewed which was A Cut Twice as Deep by Wendy L Anderson.

11. Newest book you’ve read?

I honestly have no idea!

12. Favourite author?

Stephanie Hudson.

13. Buying books or borrowing books?

14. A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?

I’m struggling with this one. Probably books like Pride and Prejudice and Romeo and Juliet.

15. Bookmarks or dog-ears?

Good lord! Bookmarks! Dog-ears are for sick individuals.

16. A book you can always reread?

I don’t tend to reread books just because I have an ever growing TBR pile but I would say The Redwall Series by Brian Jacques.

17. Can you read while listening to music?

Nope, nope, definitely not!

18. One POV or multiple POVs?

I prefer one but multiple is good if you do it right!

19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

It really depends. It’s mainly over multiple days at the moment but when my life was less chaotic it would be in one sitting.

20. Who do you tag?
