My Favourite Books of 2021

Join me as I talk you through my favourite books of 2021! My Good Reads pledge was to read 52 books this year, however, I only managed 43. I’m still happy with that though. This year, I’m going to focus on writing my own books as it’s a big passion of mine and I have a lot of stories running through my head that I feel I need to share.

I’ll count down from 10 to 1 with one being my favourite.

  • Couldn’t put it down
  • Really interesting and believable storyline
  • Unforced dialogue.
  • Fantastic character development.
  • Strong female lead.

9. Ridiculously Proud: Diary of a DIva by Charis Bell

Star Rating – 4.5 / 5 Genre: Romance / Cheesy Romace / Clean Romance

  • Characters with distinct personalities
  • Feel good
  • Has the makings of a Hallmark movie

8. God, Aliens, Death and Teapots by Andrew Ritchie

Star Rating – 4.5 / 5 Genre: Fantasy / Sci-fi / Short story collection

  • Fantastic book containing 7 short stories
  • Clever
  • Unique
  • Makes you think
  • Mind blowing
  • Phenomenal and realistic in some cases

7. Don’t Date The Haunted by C. Rae D’Arc

Star Rating – 5 / 5 Genre: Dark Comedy / Horro Comedy

  • Original and mind-blowing concept
  • Great characters all with solid personalities.
  • Gripping throughout – a page turner
  • Book 1 of a completed trilogy.

6. The Edge Series by Ilona Andrews

Star Rating: 5 / 5 Genre: Fantasy / Fantasy Romance / Urban Fantasy

  • Fantastic, gripping storyline
  • Strong female leads
  • Brilliant Character development
  • Incredible world building
  • Complete series

5. A Cut Twice As Deep by Wendy L Anderson

Star Rating: 5 / 5 Genre: Fantasy / Fantasy Romance / Viking Romance

  • Amazing storyline
  • Cleverly written
  • Great characters
  • Well developed world

4. The Book That They Do NOt Want You To Read Part 1 – 3 by Andy Ritchie

  • Amazing
  • Unique diary style format
  • Real and believable characters
  • Realistic, funny, exciting and interesting story
  • Will blow your mind

3. Ulrik by Wendy L Anderson

  • Incredible
  • A Unique blend of genres
  • Beautifully written story
  • Strong characters and character development
  • Fantastic world-building
