My thoughts: As a Sunday times number one bestseller and a very popular YA fiction on Goodreads, I was very excited to begin reading The Finisher. Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to finish this book, and it’s not through lack of trying. I started The Finisher at the beginning of the year and it’s now the 15th March but yet I’m only 41% of the way through.
I can’t really put my finger on the problem. It’s not like it’s a bad storyline and when I was reading it I enjoyed it but as soon as I put it down I forgot about it and didn’t feel that need to pick it back up. It also seemed more like a children’s book than a young adult book.
I know this is a short review but nothing much to say to be honest. It’s a shame I didn’t finish it but I just don’t want to waste anymore time on it.
